I’ve written many thank you notes over my time as the Head of Automotive, this one stumps me a bit!

I’m not quite sure where to start, the dedication to make this the success it is proving to be is truly amazing.

The quality of the design, the attention to detail, the precision of the engineering, the speed, the ability to put everything we’ve learnt over the years into practice, the fruition of amazing thinking, the quality client relationships, the dedication and respect everyone has for the final outcome, the sheer tenacity and doing it all (most of the time) with a smile on your face is very very inspiring.

You have probably gathered from the press conference and following coverage that JLR are exceptionally pleased with the result. Dr Ralph Speth used the word “stunning” as part of his speech and after walking around the whole hall declared that JLR was by far the best stand at the show. He also said to Fiona that the press conference was perfection – you don’t get any better than that!
